About Bernadine Pickett, MA, LPC, NCC
Bernadine is a Nationally Certified Licensed Professional Counselor. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Master's in Counseling degree from Oakland University.
Bernadine works with adults and adolescents in both individual and group settings and uses an integrated therapeutic approach with emphasis on Existentialism, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. Although her professional interests are vast, Bernadine tends to have great success with the relief of anxiety symptoms. Bernadine commonly works with clients regarding the following:

In addition, Bernadine's experience includes fifteen years as a relationship counselor and extensive research in the field of Life Coaching. Bernadine believes that although psychotherapy is an excellent choice for many clients, others are better assisted through the coaching process to address self-defeating behaviors, increase motivation and gain energy. Coaching can be utilized to strengthen communication skills, improve self-esteem, enhance our ability to make good decisions and set obtainable, realistic goals.
Bernadine currently accepts most insurance plans and accepts private pay clients as well.
